Our History

Founded by Mr. John Juneau in 1979, Juneau Marine began as a small air conditioning service company serving customers in the bayou country in and around Houma, Louisiana. In the late 1980’s the company was passed on to its current owner, who soon began planning to expand the business.

Focusing on the specialized area of marine air conditioning, the company soon began to design and install HVAC systems on casino boats while keeping busy serving the oil and gas industry.  Eventually, Juneau Marine would perform work on nearly every casino boat in the state of Louisiana.

When the oil & gas industry began to rebound in the 1990’s, Juneau Marine continued to grow by focusing its expertise on providing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for offshore supply vessels and various other oilfield-related vessels, working at shipyards across the Gulf of Mexico.

Today, Juneau Marine has earned a reputation as one of the top marine refrigeration companies along the Gulf Coast and beyond providing the highest quality services and equipment to numerous clients throughout the region.
